Time- All camps run from 8am-12pm
Dates- Dates depend on the specific camp. You can mix and match the camps
your child will attend. Please, just make sure not to overlap.

Description- We have a great line-up for our Winter Break Camp. The ‘Choose
Your Own Adventure’ format is back so enjoy picking your activities. Read the
descriptions below and let us know exactly which camps you are choosing when you
register.

Sport Camp with a Twist
Mamaroneck HS
Location- Mamaroneck HS Post Rd Main Entrance

Description- This is our ever-popular camp that combines creativity, engineering, art,
problem solving, sports, games, socialization and of course fun! SCWT is a 4-day camp
designed to stimulate participants with many exciting activities. Games include Hide &
Seek, Tag Games, Yoga, Track & Field, etc. Activities include Design & Build a Bridge,
Digital Scavenger Hunt, Snow Fort Construction (if we ever get snow this winter!),
Speed Drawing, etc.

Basketball
Mamaroneck HS
Location- Mamaroneck HS Post Rd Main Entrance

Ages-K-2 & 3-6
Description- Our Basketball Camp is designed to build and strengthen basketball
skills. Our younger ‘ballers’ will participate in age based drills and games, while our
older ‘ballers’ will be challenged with more difficult drills and scrimmages.

Lacrosse
Mamaroneck HS

Description- The fastest game on grass! Lax season is almost here. It’s time to
dig out the equipment from its hibernation spot and get those Lax skills ready. This
camp will challenge older players and help new and developing players. Boys, please,
bring sticks, helmets, shoulders/chest, & forearm pads. Girls, please, bring sticks &
proper eye guards. Goalies are welcome, but please bring your field equipment too.

Little Lab
Mamaroneck HS
Location- Mamaroneck HS Post Rd Main Entrance
Time- 8-12
Dates- 2/22
Ages-2-5
Description- This camp is a 1-day camp for our young scientists. Little Lab
participants will complete several experiments during camp. These experiments are age
appropriate and designed to increase curiosity with the sciences. Students will even use
science to brew their own soda! Parents, don’t worry it will be caffeine free.

Creativity & Movement–Chatsworth Ave School, Larchmont

Location- Chatsworth Ave School ‘Forest” Gymnasium

Description- This 4 day camp will include non-traditional games such as Yoga,
Kickboxing, Hand Tutting, etc and activities such as Bridge Building and Egg Dropping.
Space will be limited due to supplies.

March Indoor Soccer Club– Mamaroneck Ave School, Mamaroneck
Location- Mamaroneck Ave School Main Gymnasium
Time- 3-4:30

Description- This soccer development camp is designed to build soccer
fundamentals in a fun setting. The camp will run for the first 4 Fridays in March. Skills,
drills, & scrimmages for both attacking (offense) & defending, as well as universal
fundamentals such as ball control, agility, and conditioning.

            Come and learn the fundamentals and techniques of folkstyle wrestling from the coaching staff at Mamaroneck High School.  The Tiger Cubs kids wrestling club is open to all students from grades 2-6 and will be held several Tuesday through Thursday evenings in December and March.

THIS CLINIC OFFERS STUDENTS A CHANCE TO PLAY VARIOUS SPORTS AND USE THEIR CREATIVE SIDE TO ACCOMPLISH SEVERAL FUN TASKS.  THIS IS A POPULAR CLINIC THAT IS ACTION PACKED.  SPORTS INCLUDE; 

FOOTBALL, TRACK & FIELD, BASKETBALL, YOGA, ETC.  ACTIVITIES INCLUDE CONSTRUCTION CHALLENGES, SPEED DRAWING, DIGITAL CAMERA SAFARI, T-SHIRT DESIGN, ETC.       

SUPERVISOR—COACH TOOMBS, COACH BENCOSME & STAFF 

This is a fundamentals clinic designed to teach the skills and strategies necessary to be successful in football.  Participants will be taught, blocking, catching, throwing, handoffs, punting, kicking, stance, starts, etc.  It is our goal to learn and have fun playing the great game of football.  We will play several games throughout the clinic.  Everything will be age appropriate and coaches and players from Mamaroneck’s Football Program will provide excellent instruction lead by Coach Toombs.

Are next event is scheduled for October 10th, and it will surely prove to be a winner.  In usual Frontbulb style we never waste a national holiday!  We will be discovering stuff that Columbus wishes he could have.  Plan on sweating, thinking, and laughing till it hurts.  Oh ya and you’ll definitely bring home some fridge material.
